We are two crazy chicks - actually we are Niece and Aunty,  who live miles aparts but we have the same love of knitting and fibre art. Anything from spinning to knitting to felting; we'll give it a go.  We love our craft and love coming up with new things. We talk every week about new patterns and ideas and what we have done during the past week. If you see anything you like on our site and want something similar, just ask us.

Aunty - Kate has been spinning fibre for absolutely years! I started in High School and have not stopped. I began with Sheep fibre and had many happy years spinning sheep fleece until I found the beauty of Alpaca fleece. I love spinnig with Alpaca for it's cleaness and lightness - and overall end result. I have also spun Samoyed with great success and am looking for some Angora Rabbit fibre to spin. I have also recently found another passion of needle felting! For those who are unaware of this art form, it is a rather interesting one where you "jab" a barbed needle 1000's of times into clean fibre to do the felting process rather than using hot water and soap. My passion is felt pets - you provide me with photos of your beloved pet and viola........you receive a custom made miniature of your furry friend.

Niece - Carly has been knitting, crocheting, cross stitching ever since I was a little girl. I love it and have made many beautiful cross stitch items and more recently have been knitting and crocheting scarves, beanies, gloves and ear warmers. I have also recently aquired an Ashford Spinning Wheel. Once I have some lessons from my Aunty, I can then escape into the fascinating world of spinning as well!

We love what we do and we do what we do because we really enjoy it and want to share what we do with as many people as we can.
